Meet the Administration
Amy Fry, Director
Mrs. Fry is the Director of St. Charles Early Childhood Education Center. She is originally from Ohio, but married a native Arlingtonian. They have four children and have been members of St. Charles Parish for many years. Mrs. Fry was Director of the Corpus Christi Early Childhood Center from 2006-2009. She has also taught at Queen of Apostles, St. Clement and St. Thomas More. Mrs. Fry is the youngest of twelve children and was the first woman in her family to attend college. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame. Go Irish!
As a graduate of Marymount University's Masters Degree Program in Catholic School Leadership, she brings a wealth of knowledge to our expanding program.
Margaret Leckey, Assistant Director
Mrs. Margaret Leckey feels fortunate to be actively involved both in the preschool classroom and in the school office of St. Charles. Mrs. Leckey has graduate degrees in Slavic Languages and Literatures from the University of California at Berkeley, and experience as an editor before coming to St. Charles. Her involvement in her own children’s schools and activities, however, led her to the world of early childhood education, where she is very happy learning and growing alongside the three- and four-year-olds. “I absolutely love this age,” she says of preschoolers. “I am constantly fascinated by these small people with their huge and completely distinct personalities.”
Colleen Sullivan, Communications Director
Ms. Colleen is thrilled to continue her involvement at St. Charles as the Communications Director. Previously she worked as a teacher's assistant and now enjoys working closely with more students and their families in the front office. Ms. Colleen's professional background is in public relations and strategic communications. She is a graduate of Villanova University and also serves as the Communication and Development Director for the apostolate A Mom's Peace. As the proud mother of two St. Charles graduates, Ms. Colleen is thankful her children have had the opportunity to learn more about God's love in their early childhood education.
